Subrata is a marketer turned development practitioner turned social entrepreneur. He founded bhalo Social Enterprises in 2019 which unlocks opportunities for businesses and small farmers. bhalo provides high-quality inputs to small farmers to improve their productivity, with tech-based advisory and credit facilities. Together with mPower, bhalo is building a marketplace for small farmers combining a mobile app, a call centre and bhalo (agent/ partner) retail outlets.
