Sharda is Head of Crafts at TATA Trusts. Sharda’s area of expertise and passion is rural livelihood — strongly believing that rural producer collectives are key to solving rural poverty and rural to urban migration. Sharda was Executive Director of the WomenWeave Handloom School from 2014 to 2017, and also with producer enterprises through Renaissance Stategic and Management Services. A Gold Medalist from Institute of Rural Management Anand, a mechanical engineer from NIT- Surat, he is also a recipient of the Amul-TATA Scholarship.
