Dr. Tharcisse is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Village Micro-clinic, a community-based organization that aims to empower people from peri-urban areas and slums in Burundi to advance their own health and well-being. He has been serving the underserved communities to improve their global health and well-being since 2011. The clinic focuses on prevention and management of neglected tropical diseases, chronic illnesses, maternal, reproductive and child health. Tharcisse is a fellow from Segal Family Foundation fellowship program 2018.
