Lorenn Ruster
Lorenn is a big picture thinker and aspiring moral leader whose purpose is to contribute to tackling global challenges for social impact through cross-sector collaboration. As a Global Fellow, Lorenn established a marketing and innovation capability as the first Marketing Director for SolarNow in Kampala, Uganda. A strategy consultant by trade, she built her skills at Pricewaterhousecoopers Australia including working as an intrapreneur co-creating and consolidating a completely new business with Aboriginal Australians focused on Indigenous Affairs - PwC's Indigenous Consulting. She is an alumnus of Singularity University's Global Solutions Program focused on using exponential technology for social impact and from that experience co-founded Bibak which aims for community-led landmine detection through the latest sensor technology. Lorenn holds a tri-national Master in International Management (CEMS MIM) specializing in Social Business and a Bachelor of Science (Adv) / Bachelor of Arts majoring in Chemistry, Psychology and French.
