James is CEO of Bite Back 2030, a youth-led movement for a healthier, fairer food system which aims to halve childhood obesity in the UK by 2030. He set up the organisation in 2019 with chef and campaigner Jamie Oliver. James champions the voice of young people, connecting young people with decision makers from government, food industry and schools to bring about change in the food environments they live in. James previously worked in education as Chief Executive of Ambition Institute, a leading NGO developing exceptional teachers and school leaders to transform schools in the most disadvantaged parts of the country. He is Trustee of a Multi-Academy Trust with 8 schools in South East London.
