Haya is the CEO of HFI Productions, a storytelling organization that uses documentary film to build empathy for social justice and human rights issues. She also runs the Documentary Association of Pakistan, an initiative working to promote the culture of watching documentaries all over Pakistan. Haya is an Academy and Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker. She is a Fulbright scholar with a master’s in Documentary Journalism from New York University.
