Malaysia Fellow
Hartini is a child activist, Co-Founder of Yayasan Chow Kit, and Vice President of Voice of the Children. Both non-profits strive to uphold and protect the rights of marginalised children in Malaysia by providing direct services to health, education and shelter, as well as strengthening advocacy by highlighting child rights issues, law and policy reforms and conducting training. Hartini was featured in Al Jazeera’s “101 East” documentary on baby selling and has done work in collaboration with United Nations organizations.
