George Omedo is a business coach and a social entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in research, procurement and logistics, business development, marketing, and community development. He is also an agribusiness entrepreneur and produces horticultural crops, cereals, and legumes. Omedo has worked for multiple business accelerators, including Village Capital and Netbizimpact, insourcing, selecting, training, and funding social enterprises in Africa. He is a business mentor at the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program, and helps mentees tackle viable business models, financials, team building, sales and marketing, and fundraising. He co-founded the sport's development non-profit, UrbanVille Sports, which runs training camps for children and teenagers to uplift their physical and mental health and foster an inclusive development mindset.
