Dawar is the Research Manager at Legal Aid Society, which primarily works on sociolegal advocacy and policy reform. He is also the co-founder of Climate Action Pakistan, which brings together Pakistan-based climate advocacy under a single umbrella. Before this he also worked with the World Bank in Pakistan and FCDO projects in the country as a consultant. He also contributes to Pakistan-centric research for the Center for Research in Energy & Clean Air (CREA). He has authored several reports on various thematic areas covering climate and environmental issues. He is a graduate of the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), based between Karachi & Lahore.
