Bulbuli Sahoo is a Team Coordinator with Professional Assistance for Development Action (PRADAN), a national level Development Organisation, New Delhi, India. She has worked in the remote areas of Odisha and Jharkhand states of India to help the rural communities in improving their livelihood and enhancing their income. She currently leads a team of Professionals from Diverse backgrounds, working in a transformational project “Arrest distress migration by strengthening agri-based livelihoods through INRM” in Western part of Odisha, in partnership with Panchayat Raj and Drinking Water department, Government of Odisha, India, with a goal to support the rural community to strengthen their livelihoods and increase the income from farm based livelihoods by introducing new techniques and managing natural resources like land and water. She holds a Master’s Degree in Natural Resources Management from Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal, M.P., India. Empaneled by NIRD as a National level Resource Person for Sustainable Development and Convergence theme.
