Course Description
Our current economic system, which promotes short-term thinking and growth at all costs, is in crisis. Business has a critical role to play in building a new, more inclusive economy. Achieving this vision will require new business models that redefine success by prioritizing low-income and marginalized people.
This course will focus on purpose, strategy, and value indicators—three components of the inclusive business framework developed by EY and Acumen. Hear first hand advice from business leaders who have reimagined these operative business elements to prioritize inclusion of low-income and marginalized people. Through exploring these case studies and reflecting on your own values, you will identify opportunities to drive social change through your own business operations.
*Note: This course consists of 1.5 hours of videos/readings and 2 hours of reflections/application.
