Vishishta has a keen interest in labour rights particularly for informal sector workers, in the larger context of social protection. As a development practitioner, she is keen on working with organisations that work in this intersectionality. She has worked with agencies such as the World Bank, UN Women, International Labour Organization, etc; as well as government agencies in India. She holds an MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in Law from the University of Kerala.
