Upamanyu is the Founder and Chief Product officer of BluPower, a clean energy company enabling renewable energy generation from water infrastructure. BluPower generates constant clean and renewable energy from existing water infrastructure through a modular, efficient hydro plant. Upamanyu is an SSE fellow and was invited as one of the experts to interview for the 2022 edition of the World Small Hydropower Development Report (WSHPDR) supported by ICSHP and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and he has a Bachelor of Technology in Power Engineering (Electrical) from the National Power Training Institute (ER), Durgapur.
