Thinley Choden

Driven by her passion for entrepreneurship, development work and commitment for social change and impact, Thinley has in-depth knowledge as a social entrepreneur and a development practitioner. Her experiences include strategically leading, designing, implementing and evaluating initiatives at the grassroots and globally. She is an Acumen Global Fellow with Greenway Grameen, an Acumen investee, in India. Thinley founded READ Bhutan in 2008, which she managed till 2014. She runs her own boutique impact travel company -- Bhutan Tours and Travels and freelance an independent consultant. Thinley started her career with WFP in Bhutan and New York. Thinley was a Draper Hills Fellow at Stanford University, holds an Executive Certificate in Strategic Decision Making, Wharton Business School, a MPA from University of Hawaii, Manoa as an East-West Center degree fellow and a post-graduate certificate in Asia Pacific Leadership Program from the same. She has a BA Economics from Beloit College, Wisconsin.
