Truong Thi Nam Thang is the founder and director of the Centre for Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CSIE) under the National Economics University since 2017. She is also Associate Professor at the Faculty of Business Management since 2014, and appointed since 2019 Associate Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Innovation, University of Cambridge. Thang since 2021 serves as lead researcher at the Research Institute for Innovation and Development (IID). Being a pioneering ecosystem builder for social entrepreneurship in Vietnam, Dr. Thang leads annual country reports on the sector and leads development projects and programmes with funding and in partnership with Vietnam Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology, British Council, Irish Embassy, UNDP and corporates such as IKEA, and SK Happiness Foundation.
