Colombia Fellow
Susana is a lawyer with a master's degree in law and globalization from the University of Maastricht, the Netherlands, who has been working in the areas of human rights and sustainability for more than 10 years.
Susana has supported and facilitated consultations with indigenous communities in the north of Colombia and has developed due diligence in human rights in different areas of Colombia.
Currently, she works with a Dutch NGO that promotes fair trade through changes in the sourcing practices of large companies. She is in charge of the coffee chain in Colombia where the NGO has projects in 4 coffee producing departments. Her work focuses on closing the income gaps of these small coffee farmers.
