Sumera is Managing Director of Mechanism for Rational Change, an organization working for women’s empowerment through education and capacity building. The organization runs schools and women’s skill centers to provide educational and economic opportunities in an area of Balochistan where opportunities for women are limited. It works with the entire community to raise the status of women in society. Sumera holds a master’s in History from Balochistan University.
