Solomon Makuza
Solomon is the Country Director at Gardens for Health International, a nonprofit providing long-lasting solutions to childhood malnutrition by using agriculture as a key driver of better health. The organization partners with health clinics in rural and peri-urban Rwanda to help families facing malnutrition receive more than a clinical diagnosis and food supplements. To address the root causes of malnutrition, it works with families to provide a combination of seeds for crops, education and peer support. Solomon holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health Sciences and is studying to obtain a master’s in Public Health.
