Shiva is the Co-Founder of Jayalaxmi Agrotech and Executive Director of Sri Sharada Foundation Trust, a social enterprise that provides crop-specific data to rural farmers through a series of mobile apps. Thousands of farmers across five of India’s states use these mobile apps, which provide crop advisory, market connections, and forward and backward integration across the agriculture value chain. They also provide an analytics platform that enables stakeholders including the government, agri-input companies and banks to serve farmers better.
