Silfredo was born and grew up in the dispersed rural sector of the municipality of Moñitos, Cordoba, in the north of Colombia. He is the Manager of the Association of small farmholders producers of the Community of Membrillal (APPCM), and he has extended experience in entrepreneurship and rural associativity. At APPCM they empower small agricultural producers through know-how and replications. Given his experience in rural communities in Colombia he highly values the participatory construction and re-construction of the community. Silfredo is finishing his undergrad in business administration.
