Sajad Rasool
Journalist and Co-Founder of Kashmir Unheard
India Fellow
Sajad Rasool is a journalist from Kashmir. In 2014 he co-founded Kashmir Unheard (as part of Video Volunteers, India) which is the first community journalism platform from Kashmir. The focus of the Kashmir Unheard is to tell hyper local stories which remain untold in the mainstream media and find solutions to them. Sajad has received 2019 Berlin Scholarship from Reporters Without Borders and is currently a Gather Fellow with Seeds of Peace. Sajad holds a Masters degree in Mass Communication and Journalism from University of Kashmir.
