Radha believes that every woman and her family should view childbirth with excitement and joy rather than with fear of debt, disability, or death. She is passionate about improving health systems to provide equitable access to high-quality healthcare for low-income women. As a Regional Program Advisor at Jhpiego, she focuses her skills, experience and enthusiasm to reframing global best practices in health to fit the local context in East and Southern Africa. Her work helps to build new and sustainable models for quality and equality in healthcare service delivery across the region, scaling proven interventions in maternal and newborn health, HIV and TB care, adolescent sexual and reproductive health, and cervical cancer, and innovating where none exist. Radha is a medical doctor with an MPH from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and is a 2016-2017 Afya Bora Global Health Leadership Fellow.
