Rachel Gichinga
Rachel spent several years in the technology sector in East Africa, during which time she worked with organizations like Intel, Seven Seas Technologies Group, and the iHub, to support entrepreneurs and startups. Through this work she got interested in public sector engagement in addressing urbanization challenges. She is currently pursuing a masters in Urban Planning at New York University, and working for the NYC Mayor's Office on citywide anti-poverty initiatives as she makes her way back to African cities.
