Piyasree Mukherjee (Piya) is a social development professional and public health nutrition specialist with a career spanning over two decades. Her expertise lies in partnering with grassroots organisations to support and foster key shifts in the aspects of access to social determinants of health and well-being - social justice, food and nutrition, poverty alleviation, and more. Piya has significant program and organisation management experience and has been a strategic advisor to multiple non-profits. Piya has a masters degree in Social Work, and a graduate degree in Sociology. From the very beginning of her career, Piya has been engaged with non-profits across India. She is the ex-CEO, Foundation for Mother & Child Health (FMCH) and a Trustee at Reality Gives, a community-based non-profit organisation providing access to quality education for children and youth from poor urban communities.
