Padam Jain is a development professional .He is working with Essar Foundation and promoting ecological farming . He also Co- founded Prem Samriddhi Foundation to provide value chain solution to promote chemical free natural farming and indigenous seed. Before Essar he worked with SWISSAID for one year on the promotion of ecological agriculture and indigenous seed system in India and 13 years in SRIJAN on the Soybean and Dairy Value-Chain in India. He has 18 years of rich experience in market led agriculture and dairy value chain in India. He promoted various women led community institutions in India for their empowerment and poverty reduction. He started the Soya Samriddhi Program in 2008 at SRIJAN and was able to increase productivity and profitability of Soybean farming of 15,000 poor women farmers. He did master in Irrigation Water Management from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur. He also studied Markets and Livelihoods from St. Francis Xavier University, Canada.
