Nicole holds a master's degree in education from the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. She worked as a language teacher in Chicago’s public schools advocating for bilingual and bicultural education. In Colombia she has worked as a teacher-researcher at the Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá. Her research has examined student motivation, autonomy, and empowerment. Currently, she is the Director of Education and Programs at Coschool and leads the creation of resources for Edumotion, ensuring that they are aligned with the company's pedagogical model. She is also an educational consultant, teacher trainer, and founder of Bilingual Brains, a translation, editing, and educational consulting company.
