Natasha Allen

Natasha Allen is driven by a deep commitment to human potential and is working to make it easier for anyone, anywhere, with any skill level, to start a career in renewable energy. She has managed distributed operation & maintenance (O&M) programs for solar systems across 5 countries, including for 1500+ installation in maternal health wards with We Care Solar. She�s has delivered 1000+ hours of in-person solar training and has extensive field operations experience in Southeast Asia & Sub-saharan Africa. Before illu, Natasha founded a social enterprise in Myanmar which coordinates O&M for rural solar microgrids and provides long-term capacity building interventions to small businesses using community-solar projects to improve their livelihoods. She has a strong academic background in physics (BSc Harvey Mudd College) and engineering (MSc University College London) and was recognized as a Thomas J. Watson fellow for her research on community-based methods for rural electrification.
