Naresh Kumar is the Program Director at Manjari Foundation and is leading the State Resource Cell. Manjari Foundation works to empower women through promoting women's institutions and promoting livelihoods in 4 Indian states (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh) with over 90K women. He was awarded a prestigious Netherland Fellowship, given his commitment to the cause of social justice, poverty eradication, and women empowerment. He has completed development courses from Wageningen Netherlands, Pretoria, South Africa, and Indonesia. He is impaneled as a National Resource Person by NIRDPR, Hyderabad, and supporting state SRLMs to implement the National Rural Livelihood Mission project. He is also a Certified Sustainability Assessor by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He served as a working committee member in the sub-group on Women Empowerment and Security formed by NITI Ayog. He is instrumental in replicating women SHG models in West Africa, Mali, and Senegal.
