Kiko Muuo was born in Kenya, and considers himself a product of the Kenya education system, including receiving a bachelor'ss degree in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering. During university, Kiko's dream was always to be a social entrepreneur to solve the challenges in the education ecosystem. Kiko founded Angaza Elimu inspired by his personal education journey. Having gone through the same education system he has a clear understanding of the first-hand challenges that exist for young Kenyans, and he is committed to addressing the challenges by implementing innovative ways of learning and teaching. As CEO, Kiko is responsible for overall strategy, innovation, and operations. He utilizes his business modeling, market research, analysis, and product management skills to establish Angaza Elimu as a leading EdTech enterprise.
