Joseph Nganga is the Executive Director of responsAbility Renewable Energy Holding (rAREH), a company that develops, builds, owns and operates renewable power projects in Africa. rAREH is managed by responsAbility Investments A.G., a Swiss-headquartered Fund Manager with about $3B in assets under management. Joseph has over 8 years of experience investing in renewable energy in Eastern Africa. In addition he has consulted for various organizations including the World Bank, DANIDA and international companies on renewable energy policy and investment opportunities. Joseph was responsible for developing the business plan and subsequently raising the funds for the implementation of the World Bank’s Climate Innovation Center in Kenya. Joseph has also been involved in carrying out due diligence for investors in the renewable energy space in the region. Joseph started out his career as an Investment Banking Analyst for Bank of America in Charlotte, North Carolina.
