José is a lawyer specializing in public law and holds a Master's degree in management and practice of sustainable development. He has experience in areas such as administrative and constitutional law, public policy development, social project management, and NGO leadership. He is the co-founder and coordinator of the Fundación Podemos Cauca, Municipal Director of REDEJOCA, and Executive President of REDGIÓN S.A.S. He has worked as an advisor to institutions such as the Constitutional Court of Colombia, the City Halls of Cali, Jamundí, and Santander de Quilichao, the Cauca Chamber of Commerce, and various community organizations. He has been a speaker in different forums at the national level and currently serves as a mentor at the 'School of Political Leadership in Southwestern Colombia' at CESA and in the programs Social Innovation Lab - LISA and Resilient and Disruptive Youth by USAID, where he advises young leaders from across Colombia on good governance, rural development, entrepreneurship, and socio-political empowerment.
