John Wali

John is an Acumen Fellow and a Commonwealth Scholar who serves as the Executive Director for Junior Achievement (JA) Kenya and Country Lead for the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Kenya. JA Kenya works in partnership with the Government and the private sector to equip youth with skills on entrepreneurship and financial literacy so that they can be successful in work and life as the Country pursues Vision 2030 towards industrialization and becoming a middle-income economy. John has extensive experience in working with start-ups and social enterprises and nurturing them to go to market. John is currently pursuing an MA (Education and International Development) and holds an MBA (Strategic Management), BA (Economics) as well as a Leadership Program Alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and Penn State University.
