South East Asia Inclusive Economy Leadership Program 2023 Participant
Jimmy Pham is the founder of Know One, Teach One (KOTO), Vietnam’s first social enterprise. KOTO provides at-risk and disadvantaged youth with the opportunity to undertake a free 24-month holistic hospitality training program. Over the past 22 years and continuing throughout the global pandemic of COVID-19, KOTO has transformed over 1,000 lives.
No stranger to accolades, Jimmy was recognised as a World Economic Forum’s Young Global Leader in 2011, appointed Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for his service to the community through KOTO in 2013 and received South Korea’s POSCO TJ Park Prize in 2017 and was the 2021 Winner of the Waislitz Global Citizens' Choice Award and 2021 Advance Awards Asia Impact Winner. Jimmy is an Adjunct Industry Fellow for Griffith Business School and is currently serving as the Vice President of AusCham in Vietnam.
He has been featured on CNN, BBC, SBS, ABC, LA Times and The New York Times and is currently based in Hanoi, Vietnam.
