Jhon is Founder of Asociación Colombiana de Egreso de Protección Estatal (ASCEP) and Cofounder of Red Latinoamericana de Egreso de Protección Estatal. Both organizations work in strengthening and supporting teenagers and children without parental care who, like him, have grown up in boarding schools, under the protection of the government. Since 2013, he began to work on issues related to the transition between the government protection agency and civilian life, with young people in Colombia and Latin America. He is a social communicator of the Academia de Comunicación Jaime Echeverry Loaiza.
