Heru is the founder of Kehulu Coffee, a social enterprise that produce high quality sustainable coffee and deliver impacts to coffee farmers. At the moment, Heru focuses on the sustainable landscape management program with the World Bank Agriculture and Food Team where he provides support in natural capital financing program, low carbon and climate resilient agriculture, and value chain improvements program. Previously, Heru worked at Enveritas – a non-profit organization that provides sustainability assurance for companies and farmers–where he managed sustainable coffee verification and led engagement with various stakeholders in Indonesia. Heru is a member of 2018 Southeast Asia Young Leaders Programme (SEAYLP) at the IISS Shangri-la Dialogue, ASEAN-Korea Next Generation Policy Expert Program in 2017/18. Heru has an MA in international Affairs from Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Johns Hopkins University, Washington, DC and a BA in International Relations from Universitas Gadjah Mada.
