Haneef has 15 years of experience in research and development programs. His research interests are focused on water and climate change with an emphasis on wastewater treatment, water quality analysis, and modernization of the traditional karez system. He has introductory courses on sustainable development goal and climate change in undergraduate program at University of Turbat. Haneef has published several research articles in international reputed journals such as carbohydrate polymers, food chemistry, international journal of the biological macromolecule, food hydrocolloids and more as well as consistently exceeding research goals according to scientific expectations. Following his doctorate in Bio-Technology, Haneef was employed in different positions in his academic and research career, starting as Research Associate at the University of Karachi and now working as Dean Faculty of Science and Engineer in the University of Turbat.
