Ghoncheh Jafarpisheh-Lee
Ghoncheh is a former project manager/engineer at The Procter & Gamble Company. The lure of Kenya proved too strong and Ghoncheh elected to stay in Kenya at the conclusion of her fellowship. She worked as Head of Manufacturing and Operations at ZanaAfrica, a social enterprise that seeks to distribute low cost sanitary pads in the region as well as set up Kenya's first P2P platform. She now focuses her time and work on the scholarship organization she co-founded, ROCK, which seeks to respond to providing a support system and academic assistance to at-risk youth in Kibera. She is an Electrical Engineer by degree from the University of Illinois. Ghoncheh is from Iran.
