Geoffrey Mburu is the Co-Founder and Director of Strategy, Product, and Business Development for GIVE Ltd. He has 15 years of experience in project development and management within the area of rural off-grid electricity provision. He is a graduate of Economics and Sociology. Before GIVE Ltd, he managed an African regional team in the business development of off-grid renewable energy projects which included championing and designing project proposals from feasibility, design, economic analysis, and business planning. Geoffrey helped renewable energy companies from Sweden, and the USA set up offices and develop business locally in Eastern Africa. He has implemented award-winning projects including UNFCCC Momentum for Change Lighthouse Award won by Solvatten AB and the 2017 Energy Institute Award for Community Initiative for the Lighting Up Lake Victoria program.
