Fouad is the CEO and Co-Founder of Agriculture Republic and its Digital Dera Climate Smart Village Network. Rural communities across Pakistan especially small-holding farmers, youth, and women, face the vicious brunt of climate change and resulting food insecurities. These communities continue to lack access to the Internet and climate-smart technologies. Digital Dera is the country's first hybrid impact effort to connect remote rural communities to the Internet and climate-smart digital agriculture so that the next generation of youth and small-holding farmers can benefit from the tremendous opportunities offered by today's technological innovations and knowledge era.
