In 2019, Esther Chang joined Global Compact Network Singapore to lead a small team to help advance the corporate sustainability movement in Singapore and steer businesses to take responsible actions in the transition towards a green and inclusive economy. They offer a platform for learning, sharing, and advocacy. Prior to GCNS, she spent over 10 years working on philanthropy and strategic partnerships for education and health care in different geographies, like Canada, Haiti, and the Asia Pacific-Oceania region. Having grown up in a service-oriented environment, volunteerism is very important to Esther. She currently serves on the fundraising advisory for AWARE, a gender equality advocacy organization, and provides mentorship to youths and working adults looking to pursue sustainability as a career.
