Estefanía is a young rural social entrepreneur that strengthens and empower rural youth communities through the cultivation of cocoa beans. She has been working for more than seven years in community-based organizations such as Agrosolidaria, Comite de Cacaoteros Unión Peneya and the Red Nacional de Jóvenes Rurales RNJR. Her initiatives are 100% focused on sustainable production that promotes a local Amazonian identity and that supports the reconstruction of the social fabric, highly damaged by years of armed conflict.
