Elia Timotheo is the founder and CEO of East Africa Fruits Farm & Co., a for profit social enterprise eliminating food waste and post-harvest losses among smallholder farmers. The company produces, aggregates and distributes fresh fruits and vegetables making use of cold chain technology in its operations. Elia and the company have gained recognition locally and internationally such as in the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2016 by the U.S President, Obama; African Entrepreneurship Award 2015 and SEED Africa Awards just to name a few. He holds a Bachelor degree in Business Accounting and Finance from the Mzumbe University of Morogoro, Tanzania.
