Egide Haragirimana
Egide is a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Burundi and the Co-Founder and Senior Manager of Village Health Action, a health organization. Egide also participates in Our Views, Our Voices, an initiative of the Noncommunicable Disease Alliance that seeks to meaningfully involve people living with those illnesses in the policy-making process and amplify their voices to break down stigma and discrimination. Through this initiative, he has trained more than 3,500 students in vocational skills. Egide is a One Young World ambassador and global health advocate.
