Denis runs Vijana Corps, a social enterprise that empowers Uganda youth through literacy and entrepreneurial development. Working with the last mile youth, Denis's intervention makes it possible for them to own books for the first time and to borrow from mobile libraries. Young people also have an opportunity to be seen and heard through the art of film, a tool Denis believes transcends literacy and cultural barriers. Vijana Corps also offers support to youth through startup business training, registration, initial funding and a six month mentorship program to enable them to successfully setup their businesses from early stage idea to early customer traction.
