Demelash Bekele, is a founder and Executive Director of Vision Community Based Rehabilitation Association (VCBRA) with over 15 years of experience as a young volunteer, rehabilitation worker and leader of a civic society organization. He holds an MA degree in social Psychology. He is engaged in improving the Health, Social and Economic Well Being of People with Disabilities through providing comprehensive rehabilitation services and promoting access to Basic Health Care Services and Economic Benefits of Prisoners. The organization he is leading is operating in Ethiopia mainly in Oromia Regional State and transforming the lives of more than 5000 people with disabilities and prisoners. He is currently serving as a board chair of a Civil Society Consortium named Community Based Rehabilitation Network Ethiopia.
