Charu is the Policy Programs Manager at Facebook India.She was previously a member of GSMA’s Mobile for Development Utilities Programme and led the Innovation Fund in Asia. An MBA from the University of Oxford, Charu possesses rich experience in the social enterprise space and has also helped formulate public policy in India. Before joining GSMA, Charu headed the Institute of Reproductive Health, Georgetown University’s m-Health service in India. Charu is from Delhi, is a trained architect, and holds an MBA from the University of Oxford.
