Bhawna Dandona

Bhawna is the co-founder of Jaggery bags since 2015 and has a keen interest in sustainable and waste materials. She manages the company’s marketing initiatives, product design and testing material feasibility for new product development. Trained as a conservation architect, she holds an MSc in Historic Preservation from University of Pennsylvania with specialization in architectural materials conservation. Prior to Jaggery Bags she was heading the B Arch Programme at Sushant University, along with her conservation consultancy.
She has worked with Indian National trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Aga Khan Trust for Culture, American Institute for Indian Studies and Getty Conservation Institute. Her research on Lakhori Brick was awarded the INTACH Research Scholarship. She has co-edited the book Haryana Cultural Heritage Guide and presented research papers in international forums.
