Arifa As
An activist for workers’ rights, Arifa is coordinating the Building Safer Workplace (BSW) project for protecting vulnerable garment workers, focusing on worker’s awareness according to existing laws, policies and regulations in Bangladesh and capacity building of garments factories mid-level management. She conducts research and implements various advocacy interventions to promote workers’ rights and decent workplaces for workers. She holds a Master’s degree in Social Science from National University, Bangladesh.
