Anthony is the founder of Katchy Kollections Ltd, a for-profit social enterprise he began at the age of sixteen. Katchy Kollections seeks to eliminate poverty by creating employment opportunities in the fashion space “one stitch at a time.” Anthony’s creative journey is about the preservation of cultural heritage while bringing about social change. Today the company employs 22 full-time staff from disadvantaged communities and they have trained 50 women in the construction of fashion accessories. Anthony lives in Nairobi, Kenya and in 2015, won the FA254 award for Africa’s Best Upcoming Fashion Designer in the African Designer for Tomorrow competition and will have his products showcased on eBay Germany.
