Angie Hernández
Director at KUPERA
Colombia Fellow
Angie is an internationalist with a master's degree in international cooperation and nine years of experience coordinating and financing projects focused on inequality gaps, innovation, 4.0 technologies, and energy transition. In 2018, she founded UNLab 4.0, which has benefited more than 60,000 people in Colombia, mostly youth and young adults.
In 2023 she created Kupera, an initiative focused on generating cooperative ecosystems for energy transition in Colombia and since then has benefited different communities through workshops and the development of prototypes that provide access to sustainable energy at low cost.
Angie’s dream is to build a social enterprise that promotes energy transition and brings sustainable energy to 1.7 million homes in Colombia that do not have access to electricity.
